The E.R.Me.S. (Salernitan Medical Research and Education) society was founded in 2003 with the aim to promote research and educational programs in the area of medicine carrying out scientific publication, meetings, training courses and awareness campaigns.

Everyone who want to support this cause can freely join it, its management is based on its members' democratic will, its appointments are confered by elections and it is lucrative aimless.
